Our client wished to upgrade their system from version 5.2.1 to version 5.4 in order to take advantage of the new functionality available.
Empiria were engaged to define and plan the upgrade project, to test the upgrade process on the client's development environment (previously implemented by Empiria) and to assist in the testing of the new version on the client's data.
The work was successfully delivered over a period of six weeks, with all issues identified during testing resolved in time for the live upgrade.
The live upgrade was carried out with the system unavailable for only one day, exactly as planned.
